This compact is in excellent condition! The exterior patina could be polished, but we didn't do it. It is hallmarked on the interior frame, and boasts a compact, two spring loaded coin slots and a spring loaded currency catch. One side of the case is engraved with the initials: "MCG" (I think! or maybe MEG) It measures approximately 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" and, according to my postal scale, weighs a whopping 149 grams.
The interior measurement of this beauty is 21/4 x 3 inches.
Sadly too small for a credit card or even a modern business card.
Perfect for a dance card or a cash stash to go out on the town!
