"I prefer Winter...Something waits beneath it; the whole story doesn't show." Andrew Wyeth's commentary on the fourth season seems a fitting quote to name the fourth of four in a series of art dolls based on the seasons.
Story is twenty seven inches tall when she is displayed on a wall. (My apologies but she is to look at and enjoy not for a child to play with.) Her white on white on white color scheme is of all found materials with the exception of her modern yarn hair. I hand embroidered her sweet face and made her face body out of vintage cotton and rayon blends. Story is stuffed with hypoallergenic poly-fiberfill. Her stockings are overlaid with lace and she has found vintage crochet appliques on her body. Her necklace is a long seventies piece wound around her neck numerous times. Story's body and skirt are made from remnants of a gifted wedding gown that had its own story to tell!
