While he is an adorable figurine in a classic touchdown pose next to a football, it has a hidden pencil sharpener around the back....in a very unfortunate spot!!
If you are in need of a new addition to your desk that is good for a laugh and functional this is just the ticket, it's not only a sharpener but the football will hold your pens and pencils.
Made by Sears and Roebuck Co. 1974 this piece is painted paper mache' with a plug to keep shavings until emptying.
