Bottom cap screws off for batteries, on off switch and top screws off to access the light bulb.
All parts move easily, the bottom cap does have a crack and there are tarnished spots.
Was in working order last time used but cannot guarantee that is still true.
Flashlight measures 6.5" long and 1.5" in diameter.
